What About Susie?

Susie is an adorable 3 year old.  Her mother, Margaret, loved her so much and took that little girl everywhere with her.  While we are all very sad that Susie will not know her mother as she grows up, we feel blessed that Margaret's spirit and bubbly personality live on in Susie.  And this sweet girl does not want for love - her daddy, Tom, takes great care of her and she gets lots of love from her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Other than your prayers (which are an immeasurable blessing to the family), there are 2 ways you can help Susie.  If you are local to Shrevelport, you can help provide meals for Susie and her daddy Tom by signing up for the meal train.  Please note the likes and dislikes.

Another way to help sweet Susie is by making a donation to the Margaret Beauclair Walker Scholarship Fund, St. Joseph's Catholic School, 1210 Anniston Ave, Shreveport, LA, 71105, 318.865.3585.  This fund will provide tution for Susie starting next year with her 4 year-old/Pre-K class and continue her education as long as funding is available.  Any balance not used by Susie wil be donated toward the tution of other students at St. Joseph's Catholic School.  You can donate by mailing a check to the above address (please include correspondence designating your donation as a contribution to the scholarship fund) or by clicking on the paypal link - the money donated through paypal will be mailed monthly to St. Joseph's School with an enclosure indicating by whom the donations were made.
